Who I am
I am Liz Rowland and I am a British qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language (Trinity TESOL certificate) and French up to A level standard.
My Story
I was born in Gillingham, Kent and lived there until 2023 when I moved to Thanet.
After qualifying as a Trilingual Secretary in 1987, I worked in international commerce for around 8 years until ill health made me change careers. I then qualified as a language teacher for adults through Canterbury Christ Church college in 1994 and also gained the Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2000.
I worked for Medway Adult and Community Service for 17 years as a French and English tutor and then started my own business in 2011 with a business partner. Three years later my business partner retired and I have been a sole trader since then.
